“I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Daryn Reyman-Lock in my capacity as Conservation Director and her’s as the Historic Preservation Specialist for the Town of Westport for several years. Though our respective areas of land use expertise did not routinely overlap, when they did, I found our interactions always enlightening and informative. Dr. Reyman-Lock is a wealth of knowledge. Her passion and commitment to Historic Preservation is beyond the pale. However, I also observed her fair dealing and willingness to work with property owners to achieve their goals while at the same time preserving whichever significant historic features were present. In addition, I found her to be forward thinking in her involvement with planning efforts for the future preservation of historic structures whether it be planning for sea level rise and or wholesale rezoning of historic neighborhoods in Westport. Overall, I found Dr. Reyman-Lock to be a dedicated, hard worker and will miss working with her.”
